Liner Rohr
During operation the GRP supporting laminate absorbs pressure loads, which reduces mechanical stress and leads to an extended service life of the pipes in the long term. Additionally, the smooth inner surface of the liner generates only a low friction resistance.
FKT Liner Pipes are produced in a filament-winding process in nominal diameters from 25 mm to 1.000 mm and based on the standard DIN 16965/16966. The choice of liner depends on the expected thermal, mechanical and chemical stress.
There are several options available for connecting the pipe parts and fittings. As a standard the pipes are delivered with plain ends for connection by welding with subsequent lamination. Furthermore, it is possible to order the parts with collar and loose flange or with fixed flange. These connections are of advantage in particular when frequent disassembly is required.
